The psychiatrist who prescribed Benzos to me had little to no knowledge about what was happening to me in withdrawals. In fact, she suggested that many of my symptoms were just “my underlying anxiety disorder” coming back and that I should come see her for another prescription. I was also advised to stay off the internet. If I had not been searching for answers online then I would have never have figured out what was going on and most likely would have given up.
